This month we have been learning about 'Procedural Writing' in literacy. We have read and followed procedures and instructions to perform a card trick and to play board games correctly. We also practiced writing our own procedures using bossy verbs and linking words.
In Maths we have been learning all about fractions and decimals.
In SESE we have started new topics about Native Americans and all about the U.S.A. We have started research projects all about the 50 states of America.
We enjoyed our tour in the National Art Gallery where we saw that art can come in so many forms and varieties and it doesn't always have to look perfect! We especially liked the paintings 'The Liffey Swim' and 'The Taking of Christ'.
